The School of the Environment offers opportunities for advanced study and research
leading to the Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences. The Master of Science
degree is awarded to candidates who display an in-depth understanding of the subject
matter by successfully completing the program of study and who demonstrate the ability
to make significant contributions to their field of study.
This program requires completion of a minimum of 36 credit hours as follows: 19 hours of core courses, 12 hours of concentration courses,
and 6 hours for thesis.
